There is a sort of "magic" in the little village of Playa Chacala. It can be seen in the varied street vendors, the busy shops along the main street and in the beautiful waves crashing along the beach. Friendly faces, both Mexican and Gringo are around town, shopping, working, cooking, strolling, eating, and enjoying the magical energy in this coastal village.
Local activities
A surf shop in downtown Chacala provides locals and visitors alike with the proper equipment to paddle board the Pacific.
Restaurants
A large dinner of pescado zarandeado (seasoned, grilled fish) and margueritas for 6 or 7 people is only about $60 US and is absolutely delicious!
